Taj Mahotsav



One of the major festivals in India is" Taj Mahotsav "which held every year in Agra. It is the most awaited festival, which is organized every year at Shilpgram near the eastern gate of “Taj Mahal”. This year Taj Mahotsav will begin on Monday-18th February and ends on Wednesday-27th February. Celebrated along 10 days.

History of Taj Mahotsav:
Every year Taj Mahotsav is being celebrated since 1992. The celebration of this Taj
Mahotsav along with the enthralling romance of Taj Mahal makes the atmosphere
of this festival amazing. Main attractions of Taj Mahotsav are the performances,
fairs, and food of this festival. And a large no.of tourists from India and foreigners
are coming to Agra to join in this festival.

Music and dances of India are varied, spiritual and has many hues forms of classical
to contemporary. And people from different areas of the world are fascinated with
the rich cultural diversity of India. So here the Taj Mahotsav the cultural evenings are

Taj Mahotsav Entry fee details:
The entry fee for Taj Mahotsav is very reasonable and at low a cost.
Up to 5 years: Free
5-10 years: 10/- per each
For Adults: The fee is 50/-rs per head
Foreign Tourist: Free
The maximum cost is 500/- for 100 students in same school uniform and entry fee
free for 2 teachers with the school group.
